New single

Peter is about to release a new single called “Inte redo än” (Not ready yet). According to the official site, Peter will debut the song on Nyhetsmorgon Söndag on TV4 on 5 September 2010. The song was written by Mauro Scocco.

In an interview with a Norwegian news service, Peter confirmed that the single is being released to coincide with the tour and that it is a genuine Swedish autumn song. Peter also revealed that he is considering releasing a live album from the tour and that he will probably be recording a new album in the spring of next year.

Sommarkväll med Anne Lundberg

On the weekend, Peter was the musical guest on the first episode of the chat show “Sommarkväll med Anne Lundberg”. He appeared at the end of the show and sang “Hollow” live.

Peter at Victoria Day Gala

Peter made an appearance at the Victoria Day gala, held each year to commemorate Crown Princess Victoria’s birthday on 14 July. Peter performed “I allt jag ser” from his “Det här är platsen” album, “En sång om oss” and “Absent Friends”.

SVT has the whole show for viewing on its website. “I allt jag ser” starts at about the 18 minute mark and”En sång om oss” at about the 47 minute mark. “Absent Friends” is around the 1 hour 20 minute mark.

Peter gets married

Peter married his partner Oscar Nilsson on Friday 25 June 2010. The wedding coincided with Midsummer and was held at Cirkus, the theatre where Peter performed in “Kristina från Duvemåla” some years back.

Swedish Royal Wedding Gala

Peter was one of the performers at the gala held the night before the Swedish Royal Wedding between Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling.

Peter sang “She” and came back later with Helen Sjöholm to sing “Come What May”, a song from the movie “Moulin Rouge”.
